Tank Game
In a neon maze rebuilt every round, 2 to 8 tanks shoot at each other. Bullets bounce off the walls; one hit blows up a tank, even your own bullet. Join a room with friends or play against bots; nothing to install, no sign-up.
How to play
On a computer
- W or ↑: forward, S or ↓: reverse
- A / D or ← / →: turn the tank
- Space or left click: fire (up to 4 bullets of yours at once)
On a phone
- Left thumb: drag the joystick where you want to go; the tank turns and drives that way
- FIRE button: shoot where the barrel points

Points are written by the server. You can earn up to 5,000 points a day; guests can collect up to 1,000 points.
Round rules
- A round lasts up to 3 minutes and the maze is rebuilt every round.
- Bullets bounce off walls and travel about 8 tiles (2 seconds) before fading out. One hit destroys a tank; your own bullet bouncing back hits you too.
- Hitting a rival earns 14 points; if your own bullet gets you, nobody scores.
- For the first 100 seconds a destroyed tank respawns after 3 seconds and is protected for 2 seconds (it blinks, bullets pass through).
- At 100 seconds SUDDEN DEATH starts: no respawns, the maze closes ring by ring from the outside. The next ring flashes red 3 seconds before it closes; anything inside is crushed.
- The last tank standing wins the round and the 60-point round win.
- Power-ups on the floor: TRIPLE SHOT (fan shot, 3 times), LASER (instant bouncing beam, once), SHIELD (stops one hit within 12 seconds).
- You get full KO points from the same rival at most twice a day (the 3rd is half, then none); two players on the same network can't score off each other. Bots always give full points.
Tips
- Instead of shooting straight around a corner, bounce the bullet off a wall: the rival is hit before seeing you.
- Fire in a narrow corridor and back off right away; your own bullet can bounce back to you.
- You can have at most 4 bullets out; waste them all and you're defenceless.
- The laser is instant and bounces off walls; bank it around corners.
- In sudden death, move inward as soon as a ring flashes red; at the end everyone fights up close in the middle.

Is the tank game free?
Yes. It's free to play in the browser, no sign-up or download.
Can I play 2-player with a friend?
Yes. Press "invite a friend" in the game and send the link to your friend; you'll join the same room. Bots fill the room if it's empty.
How many players are in a room?
A room holds up to 8 tanks. If there are few players, bots fill the room and leave as real players join.
Can I play on my phone?
Yes. On touch screens a joystick and a FIRE button appear.
Where do I use the points I earn?
You can put your points on your own site's ad on the ad wall. You need a free account for that.
